I wonder if the Advisory Committee's Report on Hong Kong University is yet to be issued. Discussion on the future of the University will start as soon as I get back and copies of the Report would assist, since for the raising of funds we must instruct local Chinese opinion. My colleagues in England are aggrieved because they do not know what is proposed and to what extent the proposals, if accepted, will affect their
careers.
I would therefore ask that 10
15 copies should
be sent to me in Hong Kong as early as possible and that copies should be sent to
